Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Redline Hosting collects when you use our website and VPS hosting Service, and how it is used.
1. Information we collect
- Account details you provide: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
- Billing details: handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.
- Service data: the VPS configuration you choose (plan, operating system image, hostname), and infrastructure metadata such as IP address and node assignment needed to operate the Service.
- Technical logs: basic request logs (IP address, timestamps, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provision and operate your VPS, process payments, send transactional emails (welcome, verification, billing, and service notifications), respond to support requests, and protect the Service against fraud and abuse.
3. Third parties
We share data with the minimum set of third parties needed to run the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Supabase — authentication and application database hosting.
- Our infrastructure providers — hosting the Proxmox hypervisors your VPS runs on.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data retention
Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax and accounting obligations. VPS disks are permanently deleted at the end of the billing period following cancellation.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required by law (e.g. billing records).
6. Contact
